Our Journey
Chester Family Chiropractic Center was founded in 1991. Drs. Adam and Sandy Elbaum met while attending Life College of Chiropractic, now Life University, in Marietta, GA in 1987. The connection they had was passionate and immediate. From the time Dr. Adam chased Dr. Sandy into the parking lot asked her to lunch that day, they have shared a special love for each other and Chiropractic. Together they have served the Chester community with love and a desire to see people thrive, pain-free and healthy. Dr. Adam officailly semi-retired in April 2024 and Dr. Sandy is working towards semi-retirement as well. They are moving to the beautiful island of Roatan, Honduras, to bring Chiropractic care to a new and under-served community. They are very proud to leave the Chester practice in the hands of thier very talented kids. Dr. Abbi is thier youngest daughter and will lead the crew of excellent Chiropractors including her younger brother Dr. Andrew.

Emily Squires, LMT
Emily practices a gentle and highly-effective form of bodywork called John Barnes Myofascial Release (MFR). MFR therapy is safe, gentle hands-on therapy that gives lasting results. Gentle pressure is applied to the fascia/connective tissue in a precise and slow manner to induce relaxation.
As a Licensed Massage Therapist and former educator, Emily will teach you about your body and prompt your inner physician. In other words, she tries to re-connect your brain (consciousness) with areas it has been removed from due to trauma, injury or surgery. Emily's approach is both skillful and intuitive, and she is passionate about helping her clients find freedom from pain and restriction within their bodies. She wants everyone to experience a deeper connection with themselves– resulting in greater joy and vitality in their daily lives.
